"Good low cost BPM" 2009-08-30
By James Kellahin (Los Angeles)
This model is the best low cost monitor I was able to find. Readings are consistent and accurate for home use. Cuff works left or right arm -pay attention to the location of the tube/blue line on the cuff wrap. Improper cuff wrap tension on arm can result in E or EE error messages, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy enough. Batteries seem to last a good while as well, and the two person memory functions are great for long term monitoring. No matter what your need, this is a good place to begin... and the price search on Amazon yielded the best results. If people would monitor their BP along with weight a couple of times a day, we'd all be a lot healthier and lower costs for everyone.
